Excellent tutorial. I always wanted to learn how to do both versions correctly and also see the differences of each one. I also agree the chain version is much simpler without having to weave in the ends which is my least favorite thing to do too.

I wonder if this pattern would work as well by substituing all hdcs with dcs and all dcs with trs for those of us who a want/need a larger heart? Has anyone tried this? Alternatively, could 6th and/or 7th rounds be added following a similar pattern? It's a really cool pattern at any rate! Thanks for sharing! ♥
